Winter hankerings

I cannot tell why I wish for this warm woolly blanket so much though it is the height of summer. Perhaps it's the rainbow of little bobbles? The crocheted edging? The tiny bird sitting nearby? Or perhaps it's cos I'm woefully poorly today and want to curl up in comfy place.

missed connections made my day

Discovered a wonderous thing in the shape of the Missed Connections blog and the talent/genius idea of Sophie Blackall. After checking my bank balance a couple of times I bought a print of the Bear couple. Can't wait till it arrives.
